About Us

MVARC is an amateur radio club with members from all over Northwest Missouri

Missouri Valley Amateur Radio Club, Inc. (MVARC) was established in the early 1950's to promote amateur radio, furnish licensed and trained personnel to local, state, or federal governments in the time of emergency or disaster for communications and liaison work. To instruct and aid in any way possible aspirants to amateur licenses. To promote advancements in the fields of electronics by our experiments and experience. MVARC became incorporated as a benevolent corporation on February 9th, 1956. MVARC has been affiliated with the ARRL since March 23rd, 1964. MVARC is associated with W5YI VE's for FCC license testing. We operate three repeaters; a 2- meter Yaesu System Fusion repeater 146.850 PL 100.0.
